Webhannet Charitable Foundation
The Webhannet Charitable Foundation was established in the Fall of 2011. Its mission is to help individuals and organizations that are in the greatest economic and financial need in Southern Maine.
Since its inception the Foundation has donated more than $217,700 to local charities. Donations to the Foundation have been supported and augmented by a “Night of Comedy”, the Webhannet Charity Classic golf tournaments, along with generous donations from club members and friends of Webhannet.
The local charities we have supported include RSU21 Village Fund, Kennebunk Elementary School Inclusive Playground Project, Make-A-Wish Maine, Community Outreach Service Food Pantry and Fuel Assistance programs, Food 4 Thought Back Pack program, Caring Unlimited, Community Bicycle Center, York County Shelter programs, Seeds of Hope, Toys for Tots, York County Child Abuse Center, Special Surfers, Kennebunkport’s Graves Library, Maine Children’s Cancer Program, the Waterhouse Center, American Red Cross-Maine and the Webhannet Charitable Foundation Endowment Fund.
As 501(c)(3) organization, donations to our fund raising events and individual contributions are tax-exempt.
