years was The Atlantis, a spacious resort hotel where many Club
members and their guests stayed. Its Highlander Room featured
cocktails, charcoal-grilled steaks, lobsters and a lively dance
band. The summer home of Larry and Edie Ward is situated
on the former Atlantis site, whose brochure reads 'Just a step
from the beach and golf courses to a tempting lawn luncheon.'"
