"In 1923 the Club decided to add nine more holes, making Webhannet an 18-hole course.  Construction was financed by the sale of $19,980 of new preferred stock at $100 per share."

Lessons at Webhannet

Webhannet Professional Kirk Kimball stresses that he is not “into” one style of teaching.  “I prefer to see how an individual hits a ball, hear what he or she is having trouble with, and then focus on what he or she needs to do to improve that shot or that part of their game,” Kimball says.  “I try not to overload my students with excess information and I never talk about more than two things. Golf is tough enough!  Two things max – that’s my limit.”

Lessons are available on half-hour and full-hour basis.  Cost: $45 half-hour, $90 hour.

Webhannet Professional Kirk Kimball’s tip of the month!

This month’s focus: the dreaded SIDE HILL LIE

The key thing is to adjust your body position and weight to the slope or contour of the ground.  Don’t feel you have to take a longer or shorter club, or that you have to drastically bend over or choke way down.  Instead, take your stance so that your posture and spine angle align with the slope of the hill, and then make a normal swing.
